My name is Jonathan Sugianto. I'm 21 years old and I'm from Alhambra, California. My dream and goal in life is to become a Professional Racecar Driver and win some of the biggest races in the world!

My journey started when I was 8 years old. I was diagnosed with Leukemia cancer. Over the years I went through many difficult and tough times. However in 2005, I got the chance to meet Jeff Gordon through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. When I met Jeff, I knew right then and there what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I wanted to become a racecar driver.

I started my career in karting at the age of 13. I competed in the Jim Hall Karting Series from 2009-2012. I was able to grab myself a total of 23 pole positions, 20 heat wins, 23 main event wins (series record) and 3 championships (series record). From 2012-2014, I spent my time learning, communicating, and developing myself to earn sponsorship. In November of 2014, I earned enough sponsorship to compete in the 2014-15 Skip Barber Winter Championship. I was able to earn 2 poles, 2 fastest laps, 7 podiums, and 1 win. In 2015, I ran the Skip Barber Summer Series where I got 4 wins, 5 podiums, and 2 poles. After my time at Skip Barber, I was selected to become a VMB Development Driver and race with World Speed Motorsports in the 2016 Formula Car Challenge Championship presented by Goodyear.
